Dr. Ashley Whittemore, ND, is an Arizona licensed Naturopathic Physician. Born and raised in Southeast Louisiana, she attended Louisiana State University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a minor in Business Administration. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona, where she was trained as a general practitioner.
Dr. Whittemore’s interest in naturopathic medicine grew when conventional medicine was unsuccessful in treating an illness she had. When the underlying cause was addressed and treated she got better. Dr. Whittemore has a passion for empowering people to take control of their health and educating them on how to do so. She also has a passion for advocating for the awareness and advancement of naturopathic medicine. Dr. Whittemore works with people of all ages and with a variety of conditions.
Dr. Whittemore is a founding member of the Louisiana Association of Naturopathic Physicians (LaANP) and currently serves as the Vice-President. She is also a Medical Editor at Medicine Talk and serves on the Curriculum Committee of the Naturopathic Medicine Institute (NMI).
